          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">The possibility of relaxation oscillations occurring in a pulsed discharge copper vapor laser is qualitatively described. Resonance-radiation trapping and collisional effects are taken into consideration. The findings explain the waveforms from a Cu-Cl vapor laser and are also applicable to other metal-vapor lasers.</datacite:description>
