AUX　Shift and the Notion of “Basic Order”: A Case Study of Sgaw Karen -Toward the Syntactic Function of VO Nominalisation- 藤井, 文男 Applying the notion of "Grammatical Gravitation," which serves as the syntactic centre of the sentential structure, it is demonstrated how the so- called "Basic Order" is operationally ascertained in Sgaw Karen, one of the linguistic minorities in Southeast Asia.
