          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">A nondestructive method by photon activation analysis with 30 MeV bremsstrahlung followed by high-resolution gamma-spectrophotometry has been developed for the multielement determination in water pollution source emissions. The sample materials subjected to analysis were NBS standard references and river sediments. Simultaneous irradiation of the sample with Japanese standard rock, JB-1, and the synthetic multielement standards containing 33 elements has shown that the technique is successful with regard to the capability of determining 16 elements in a single sample. These are As, Ba, Ca, Ce, Co, Cr, Fe, Mn, Na, Nb, Ni, Rb, Sr, Ti, Y, Zr. The method is quite simple and gives good reproducible results.</datacite:description>
