<dc:description>The author applied the microteaching method to the classroom works in the intensive course in teaching of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science in Tohoku University and the Faculty of Education in Yamagata University. The microteaching originated at Stanford University in 1963. It consists of the following series of levels as a fundamental procedure : (1) (initial) lesson, (2) feedback (or critique), (3) improvement, (4) re-lesson and (5) feedback. In an intensive course, there was enough time for the author to try the communication analysis, which is the revised term of "Teacher's Gaze Graph" Method coined by Asst. Prof. Shindo at Fukuoka; students and teacher's "Talk Analysis" according to certain categories, and "Free-Gard Method" and "KJ-Method" coined by Prof. Kawakida at Tsukuba University. So far the author has developed a program of microteaching for an intensive course in the teaching of Mathematics.</dc:description>
