In our previous method we use feature-line matching approach to unify the point clouds obtained by measurement of an artificial building. However, because of matching the feature lines as a silhouette of column,our previous method makes unexpected results from point clouds that contained\nthe column form. In this paper, we propose the column shaft estimation method from a point cloud. The estimated feature lines as a column shaft that isunchangeable line is effective for registration of point clouds. The registration method using this feature lines is able tounify point clouds that contained the column form.
