| 内容記述 | This paper discusses the degrees of comfort of slacks across the knees，the most elastic parts of them，in order to clarify what slacks could be easier to wear. 1.Three pairs of three-quarter Slacks were prepared on the basis of the following conditions：（a）Knitted textures were selected as clothing materials to test.（b） The pattern design was based on the so-called Bunka-Shiki．（c）In the case of final sewing，five seams／cm，a needle ＃9 for the knitted textures，and polyester threads for the knitted textures were selected．（d）The cuffs measure was the same in all the cases as what was taken by actual measurement．（e）The ease across the knees was set variable：8cm，4cm，and 0cm． 2.The wearing time lasted eight hours． 3.Experimental check points were as fo1lows：（a）Pictures were taken of the external changes in form．（b）The subject，having worn the slacks，was interviewed concerning how comfortable each of them was．（c）The measurements were taken of in the length of the fore parts of the slacks，in the width of the slacks around the knees，and in the thickness of the texture across the knees． 4．The findings were as follows（a）The length of time that the slacks were worn had greater effects on the good-or-bad of the external appearances in form of slack．than on the degree of comfortin wearing them．（b）Concerning the degree of comfort，0cm ease was felt to be tight，while 4cm was comfortale，even if the test textures were readily elastic．（c）The sma11er the dgree of comfort became， the longer the fore part of the slacks became．The same could be found in the texture around the knee．And the less the degree of comfort was，the worse the recovery of elasticity was，into the so-called knee deformation． |
