The results obtained were as follows : (1) Regarding consciousness of the value of homemaking and view toward sex roles, the more conservative the housewives and their husbands were, the more their service-uses were controlled. (2) The higher their self-estimations of housework techniques were, especially about cooking, the more their service-uses of dietary life were controlled. (3) The housewives with higher consumer consciousness or more confidence of their housework techniques, will use less domestic services in future. 第1報に基づき, 家事サービス利用の抑制要因と考えられる保守性に着目し, それを具体的な生活意識としてとらえて分析軸とすることにより, 家事サービスの利用傾向に関する分析を行った. 得られた結果は次のとおりである. (1) 手づくり肯定派は, 従来家庭で手づくりされるのがあたりまえとされるものについて継承志向がみられ, 一方, 手づくり否定派では冷凍食品のような新たな加工形態の食品において利用が促進される傾向が認められる. (2) 本人および夫の性別分業観にかかわる保守性が, サービス利用を抑制する要因として働くことが確認されたが, いずれも食生活関連サービスにおいてその傾向が顕著である. (3) 余暇に関する意識とサービス利用とのかかわりは希薄であり, 今後主婦の生活行動のなかに余暇行動がより明確に位置づけられるとともに変化していくことが予想される. (4) 家事技術の自己評価では, とくに炊事技術の評価が高いほど食生活関連サービスの利用が抑制される.
