 note = {In 2004, the British Columbia Ministry of Education added "Graduation Portfolio" in its graduation program to support "the development of students who are academically competent, able to compete in the real world, and are socially responsible citizens who are lifelong learners." According to the "Graduation Program Guide" published by BC Ministry of Education, home economics education is expected to take a large role in preparing the "Graduation Portfolio." Additionally in 2007, BC's home economics provincial education standards, IRP were revised and reorganized to adapt to the realities of actual courses which have been offered in secondary schools, and to respond to the "Graduation Portfolio (Graduation Transitions)."},
