| 内容記述 | Sensei literally means "one who was born before" and in the cultures of the Far East in fluenced by Confucian values it is an appellation of respect for those of an older generation who have achieved a certain position in society. Thus the word has become synonymous for "teacher". W.B. Yeats, a pre-eminent poet of the twentieth century, maybe addressed accordingly since much maybe learned by young Japanese students from the life and work of a poet of his stature. |
