Berntsen, 1996, 1998:Harris, 1980:Harris & Menzies, 1999:Nilsson & Cohen, 1988:Brewer, 1986）。\n　ところで、これまでの日常記憶に関する研究で採用されている研究手法を概観すると、おおよそ日誌法を用いた調査研究と質問紙法を用いた調査研究に2分される。日誌法による調査は、被験者に常に手帳を携帯させて日常記憶活動を調査することで個人の記憶特性を捉えようとするものである（Berntsen, 1996,1998:Bure, Mackay, Worthey & Wade, 1991）。一方質問紙法による調査は、個人の日常記憶についての自己報告を求め、日常生活での一般的な認知的行動特性と記憶特性の関連性を捉えようとするものである。日常記憶に関する質問紙についてHerrmann（1982, 1984）は、日常生活での記憶特性を測定する質問紙は大きく分けて、日常生活内での知識や出来事の再生・再認を求め、その能力を測定する記憶質問紙（memory questionnaire）と、個人が日常で経験した出来事や物に関する知識をどのように受けとめているかを尋ねるメタ記憶質問紙（metamemory
