と記す）への期待が高まっている．\n文部科学省は実践活動事例集として公表しその成果を示している２）３）４）５）．しかし，この成果は小中学校における実践を主としており，SSWr配置から日が浅い高等学校における実践は現在進行中の課題である．そもそも高等学校は小中学校とは異なる教育のシステムを有し，かつ，生徒の状況に関する学校間差が著しい．そのため，SSWr の活用場面や活用方法は一律では考えにくい．\nところで,SSWr が担うソーシャルワークの「内容」は，実は学校現場では伝統的に教師によって取り組まれてきた内容である．例えば，不登校への関与として, 家庭への働きかけをし，必要ならば外部の支援機関への紹介をするなどがある．これらの多くは教師の裁量の範囲で実施されてきたものであった. 教師は授業や生徒指導という本務との関連の中で，必要に駆られてソーシャルワークに相当する内容や方法に触れてきた．結果的に支援が行き届かない事例もあったろうし，奏功した事例もあったことだろう．今後は，その専門職であるSSWr との協働によって，この伝統的な教師の守備範囲をシェアし，より効果的な支援を実現していくことが必要である．現在は，学校にとっての新しい人材であるSSWr に対する教師の認知度は低く，業務のシェアをしにくい「萌芽期」といえる．実践的な検討をもってSSWr と教師の相互理解をすすめ適切な業務分担を見出したい．\nそこで，筆者らは，岩手県の公立A高等学校におけるSSWr の活用実践を通じて，SSWr と教師の業務分担についての検討を開始した．本稿はその発端であり，スクールソーシャルワーク及びその担い手であるSSWr の起源と役割を論説し，その上で，SSWr
