An optimization based genetic algoriothm in cooperation with the surrogate-model constructed from RANS (Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes' Eqs) simulations is applied to the blade profile exploration under two-dimensional flow condition to achieve the stage efficiency maximization, along with blade shape morphing.
