スクール構想のもと，子供たち一人ひとりに「個別最適化され創造性を育む教育」を実現することの重要性が述べられている。岩手県でも，「いわて学びの改革研究事業」が企画・実施され，研究指定された小中高校でICT 環境の整備とその活用等に関する研究が行われた。本研究では，研究指定校の生徒への質問紙調査を実施・分析し，中学校へのICT 環境導入初期の数学学習におけるICT 活用の可能性と課題を考察した。その結果，ICT 環境導入初期の数学学習におけるICT 活用の可能性と課題として， ① 『ICT への興味』はある程度高いが，それに比べて『数学への興味』は低く，『ICT への興味』を生かして『数学への興味』を高めるような指導を行うことが必要であること，②『数学の実用性』と『ICT の実用性』は低くはないが，その指導には課題が示唆され，『数学の実用性』と『ICT の実用性』を意図した学習内容や活用するソフトウェアの検討が必要であること，③『ICT への姿勢』は事前と事後で有意な差は見られなかったが，『数学への姿勢』は事後において有意に低下しており，『数学への姿勢』に配慮した指導が重要であることなどが示唆された。今後は，これらの課題を改善するための具体的な指導の内容や手立て等を検討することと，ICT 環境導入後ある程度の期間が経過後の数学学習におけるICT
