As a result of investigating the relationship between the sediment particle diameter d and the unit width sediment discharge qB with the exfoliation characteristic value p, it was shown that each parameter influences the value of p and that there is a range showing the correlation. It was also shown that the quantity of algae exfoliation can be expected by the amount of work Wx calculated with hydraulic conditions, sediment particle diameter d, and the unit width sediment discharge qB as parameters.
