The author has previously published two original papers on the relationship between practice swings and actual hits during golf putting and explored how practice swings contributed to the actual hits. This paper aimed to summarize the results of practice swings during golf putting, and also considered the unpublished data obtained from other studies that did not address practice swings. Moreover, future considerations were discussed. First, findings on the behaviors during the preparatory phase of sports were summarized, and then the significance of researching practice swings of golf putting was discussed. Next, the results of previous research that investigated the difference in movement patterns between practice swings and actual hits were introduced. Third, correlations between the different putting distances observed during practice swings and the accuracy of the actual hits were explained. Fourth, the practice swing classification was indicated. Fifth, previous research results on the effect of practice swings on the actual hits, the role of practice swings, and the skill level differences, were summarized. Sixth, the differences, and inseparability of practice swings between professional and amateur golfers were discussed. Finally, the application of these research results to coaching sites and future research considerations were discussed. All data presented in this paper were measured in well-controlled experiments and kinematic analyses using performance data from professional and amateur golfers were included., 本稿で特に議論の対象となった4本の論文は、JSPS科研費(課題番号JP26750265 とJP18K17818)の助成を受けて実施された研究成果の一部}, pages = {73--86}, title = {ゴルフパッティング遂行前の準備動作の役割 : 「素振り」の運動学的分析の観点から}, volume = {112}, year = {2023} }
