| 内容記述 | This study aims to clarify the historical background and the institutional design of the European Union's "Integrated and Sustainable Urban Development Strategy: ISUD Strategy." Furthermore, it aims to clarify the current state of operation of the ISUD Strategy by taking Seville, Spain as a concrete example. The following became clear through literature and internet surveys. 1) As the importance of cities has been recognized, the EU's urban policies have expanded their scope in terms of budget and geography, and have refined their methods of respecting the uniqueness of each country and city. This was due to the institutional design that required each country and city to provide funding and use a common framework for the entire EU. 2) From the case of the ISUD Strategy in Seville, the unique issues of Seville were perceived as common issues that transcended regions within the policy frameworks of the EU and Spain, and actions were taken to resolve them. | |||||||||||||||||
