A pilot study(n = 4)was conducted to investigate the research question: How do logic games influence epistemic modality and inferential skills? A mixed-methods design was conducted that combined pre-post quantitative testing with thematic analysis on semi structured interviews. Results indicated some linguistic development, with statistically significant gains in reductive and deductive forms. However, most developments did not reach statistical significance. Thematic analysis revealed three themes: inference development, self-reflection, and intrinsic motivation.
