In this paper, we describe the experimental results of NOx reduction in the exhaust gas from a 20kVA diesel engine using dielectric barrier discharge. A multipoint-to-plane geometry was used as electrodes to lower the operating voltage. A power supply used is mainly composed of rectifier circuits, IGBT and pulse transformers. An output pulses of 10kV can be generated at 2.5 kpps (pulses per seconds). NO can be almost completely removed for electrical load below 35% of the rated output at flow rate of 5l/min.. In the case of drying exhaust gas, NO2 was produced through an oxidation of NO. NO2production, however, decreased with the use of humid gas. The NOx (NO+NO2) in the gas exhausted from the diesel engine generator was reduced up to 13% with an electrical efficiency of 17g/kWh at flow rate of 1.1Nm3/min..}, pages = {553--559}, title = {誘電体バリア放電によるディーゼル発電機の排ガス処理}, volume = {120}, year = {2000} }
