To estimate the depth where liquefaction phenomenon occurred, ananalysis of earthquake response was carried out. In this approach, the specific input motion of the earthquake was the time history of acceleration recorded at Akita harbor and Hirosaki university yard. Soil layers for response analyses were evaluated on the basis of a detailed soil investigation performed after the earthquake. The equation of motion was solved by the use of the lumped mass method in which the time-dependent stiffness-degrading efect caused by the successive rise in pore-water pressures during seismic loading was taken into account. Such analytical proedures were applied to the sites of Shonan, Ohsuga, where the ground failure induced by liquefaction had occurred extensively, and also to site of Asanai where no liquefaction phenomenon was ovserved.}, pages = {76--94}, title = {秋田県能代市における地盤の振動特性(3)-地盤の地震応答解析と液状化-}, volume = {41}, year = {1988} }
