This paper deals with modeling of parts flow in two systems which have different buffers (System AB : independent buffers for parts A and B : System B : independent buffer for part B), and analyzes effects of machining accuracy distributions of parts and buffers on the system production rate. From numerical results, it is found that accuracy distributions and the combination of distributions have asymmetric effects on the production rate, and that the combinations of distributions which yield a high production rate exist.
