| 内容記述 | 1. スズメPasser montanus saturatus STEJNEGER 1885 (スズメ目・ハタオリドリ科），ハクセキレイMotacilla alba lugens (セキレイ科， およびシジュウカラParus major monor（シジュウカラ科）の， コンクリート建築物と構造物， 鋼材構造物における営巣行動について，1990年から94年8月にかけて， おもに宮城県内と岩手県内において調査し， 考察した。 2. スズメは， 木造モルタル構造の民家やビルにある隙間を見いだして， 営巣・繁殖している。この行動は，農村地帯のビルや，新たな事業所の屋外施設・構造物に対しても認められる。 3. スズメは， 高速自動車道の壁面の排水口， サービスエリアの給油所， インターチェンジの料金収受所， 橋梁の鋼材橋桁などにも営巣行動を行っている。また植栽された木立は， ねぐらの対象となっている。 4. これらの事例から， スズメは人間社会における新規の建造物・構造物に積極的に対応し，営巣行動を行なう習性を持っていると考えられる。そして営巣行動の対象としているのは，屋根に相当する構造があり， 底面がほぼ平らな箇所のある隙間である。 5. この営巣場所選択の習性は， モーターの振動や騒音よりも優先していると考えられる。 6. 同様なビルの隙間に営巣するハクセキレイは， 古巣の巣材を運び出して捨てる行動を行なうことがある。 7. シジュウカラは， 屋根に相当する構造のないポールの中にも営巣する習性をもっている。 |

| 内容記述 | The investigations, on the nest-building behavior of the tree sparrow, Passer montanus saturatus, the white wagtail, Motacilla alba lugens, and the great tit, Parus major manor, in the buildings and the constructions were made in Miyagi and Iwate Prefectures from March, 1990 to August, 1994. It was observed that the tree sparrow built its nest in the openings of the buildings and the constructions, both in the cities and in the countrysides. It was conspicuous that the tree sparrow, preferred an opening which had a ceiling (an upper cover) and a flat floor; even if the opening was on a motor box with vibrations and noises. The great tit often built its nest in hollow poles which were erected at a right angle to the ground and had no lids. Also, it was observed that the white wagtail threw away the old nest from the opening in the building. |
