| 内容記述 | 本報告は，小学生児童を対象とした野外体験プログラムの中で30分程度の森林に関する講話を実施し，講話の内容が児童の知識や行動にどのような影響を与えたかを検証したものである。調査対象は，岩手県の陸中海岸青少年の家が企画した「海の子野外教室」に参加した小学生児童29名である。同教室は海洋体験中心であるが，森林が体験できる沢登りも組まれている。調査では，沢登り体験の前日に児童に木と森林の話題を講話として提供し，その内容が沢登り体験時の児童の行動やその後の知識に与えた影響を，行動観察，アンケート調査，インタビュー調査で把握した。その結果，沢登り体験時には児童の講話の影響を受けた行動はみられなかったが，約50日後の保護者アンケートでは，約半数の児童が保護者に講話の内容を語っていることがわかった。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | We conducted a 30-minute lecture about forests in an outdoor experience program for elementary school children, and examined how the content of the lecture affected children's knowledge and behavior. The subjects were 29 elementary school children who participated in the “Uminoko Outdoor Program” organized by the Rikuchu-Kaigan Youth House in Iwate Prefecture. The main part of this program is a marine experience, but it also includes the stream experience activity. We gave a lecture about the topic of trees and forests to children the day before the stream experience. Then, we grasped how the contents of this lecture affected the behavior of the children during the stream experience through behavior observation surveys and interview surveys. We also conducted a questionnaire survey to understand the impact of the lecture on children's knowledge after the program. As a result, we could not confirm the behavior of the children affected by the lecture during the stream experience. However, in questionnaire survey of parents about 50 days later, we confirmed that about half of the children were telling their parents the content of the lecture. | |||||||||
