| 内容記述 | Until the establishment of the Oshu Fujiwara clan, the Kiyohara clan had influence over the northern half of Ou. Regarding its origins, there are opinions, one is a descendant of Kiyohara no Yoshimochi （清原令望） who appeared to be a government army in a historical record during the Gangyo War（元慶の乱）, and another opinion was local officials who worked at provincial office such as Akita-Jo and Hotta-no-Saku. In “Mutsuwaki”（陸奥話記）, it is recorded that under the command of Kiyohara no Mitsuyori（清原光頼）, the chieftain of Fushu（ 俘囚）in this region and his eldest son Yorito（頼遠）, 10,000 people were mobilized into the force, together with Kiyohara no Takenori（清原武則） as the commander of the expeditionary force, and the related clans of Kiyohara. Presumed by the name, the Kiyohara clan was based on the Senboku-san-gun （山北三郡） (Ogatsu, Hiraka, and Yamamoto) and other two counties of Akita and Kawabe. The origins and scope of influence of the Kiyohara clan have been studied using a written approach, but the purpose of this study is to discuss these matters from an archaeological perspective, taking into account the results of recent excavations. |
