| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，視覚イメージ処理と言語情報処理に関わる認知スタイルとして個人が日常生活の中で物体視覚思考，空間視覚思考，言語思考を用いる傾向を測定する表象スタイル質問票（RSI）を作成し，尺度の信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。主因子法を用いた因子分析からは物体情報の処理に関わる “ 物体視覚思考 ” 因子と言語情報の処理に関わる “ 言語思考 ” 因子，空間情報の処理に関わる “ 空間視覚思考 ” 因子の 3 因子が抽出された。 これらの因子は確証的因子分析や内的整合性，時間的安定性の検討から因子的妥当性や信頼性を持つことが確認された。また作成した RSI の基準関連妥当性について視覚情報処理や言語情報処理が関わる心理測度との関連について検討したところ，物体視覚思考尺度の得点は日本語版 VVIQ，CEQ-J の得点と，空間視覚思考尺度の得点はMRT，PFT の成績と，言語思考尺度の得点はアナグラム課題，言語流暢性課題とそれぞれ特異的な関連が認められた。これらの結果から本研究で開発した RSI が十分な信頼性と妥当性を持つ質問紙であることが確認された。 |

| 内容記述 | This study attempted to develop a Representation Style Inventory（RSI）for measuring individual difference in the preference and experiences for object-visual, spatial-visual, and verbal thinking. On the basis of factor analysis, we obtained three factors in the questionnaire. A 10-item object-visual thinking scale assesses preferences and experiences for representing colorful, pictorial, and high-resolution images of individual objects or scenes; a 10-item spatial-visual thinking scale assesses preferences and experiences for representing schematic images and spatial locations of objects; and a 10-item verbal thinking scale assesses preferences and experiences for processing verbal information. Additionally, the RSI demonstrated acceptable internal reliability as well as construct and criterion-related validity. This study’s results showed that the RSI is useful for measuring preferences and experiences for object-visual, spatial-visual, and verbal thinking. | |||||||
